Kristin Appenbrink is a writer, editor, and social consultant with more than nine years of experience at women’s lifestyle publications. She is currently an editor-at-large editor for Apartment Therapy’s The Kitchn, a contributing editor to Tastebook, and works with several other marketing and editorial clients on social strategy, content, and brand identity. Kristin has also contributed to Oprah.com, Tasting Table, LearnVest, and Better Homes & Gardens among others. Kristin previously worked at Brit + Co and Real Simple.
In addition to writing and editing, Kristin has made frequent television appearances on both national and local programs such as the Today Show, Weekend Today, Good Morning America, CBS Up to the Minute, and LX TV in New York.
A big fan of side projects, Kristin is a co-founder of Part Time Vegan, a tongue-in-cheek food-themed tote bag company. She also runs Belinder & Pop Up Kristin.
Originally from the midwest, Kristin grew up in Kansas City and is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she studied magazine journalism, graphic design, and women’s studies. Since leaving the midwest, Kristin has lived in both New York and San Francisco.
When not working you will either find Kristin in her kitchen making homemade ice cream or off somewhere with her nose in a book.
